Basically Machete revolves around Danny Trejo, the Machete in the film who was a former Mexican federale.  After an instance with a drug lord, he is seen searching for work in yards to make a living.  While all these is happening, Benz a local businessman informs him of an illegal activity in which hundreds of immigrants are being sent out of the country illegally.  In order to stop this activity Machete is offered $150,000 to kill the guy responsible for this.  Machete agrees to the proposal of Benz who is also a spin doctor.  Later when Machete tries to kill McLaughlin in a rally, one of Benz men shoots McLaughlin and only then did Machete understand that he was being underplayed.  Benz wanted to gain the public support against McLaughlin’s anti immigration laws.  He wanted the whole thing to appear as; a Mexican assassin has tried to kill the senator.  Machete is wounded in this operation and he is taken to the hospital but he escapes before getting arrested.   
 
Watch Machete online to catch Jessica Alba, though hers is the weakest link in the movie.  Her fans will still love to watch her on screen.  She plays the role of US immigration and customs enforcement agent who will be assigned the job of finding the wounded Machete.
